Dino-Themed Thrills Left in Time

The old Jurassic Park-themed roller coaster is a thrill ride now ruled by vines all over. It’s located in an abandoned amusement park in Japan. The ride was designed to immerse riders in a prehistoric adventure. Installed in the early 1990s, it quickly became a favorite for dinosaur enthusiasts.
However, the park closed its gates in the late 2000s, leaving the 70-foot-tall roller coaster to nature. For over a decade, it sat untouched, gradually becoming overgrown as nature reclaimed its territory. According to the local media, high maintenance costs and a lack of investment led to its abandonment. It stands as a surreal monument, echoing man-made wonder and wild encroachment.
