Once bustling with hundreds of residents, the settlement fell silent in the 1990s as locals moved to the mainland for better opportunities. However, the remains look anything but dilapidated.

The village’s 500 homes are shrouded in a lively green cloak of ivy and plants. The houses serve as natural trellises, allowing greenery to creep and flourish. This surreal transformation makes the village look like a scene from “Avatar.” Here, Mother Nature has reclaimed her domain, turning the ordinary into an extraordinary green haven.
