The Magical Golden Ratio

This is about the golden ratio. The golden ratio is a concept developed by scientists to explain a vast number of things, but in our case, we are looking at how it describes the mathematical relations of the features of the human face. The golden ratio is actually a number – 1,618. As it is understood, if dividing the length of the face by its width produces a figure close to the golden ratio, the face in question would be more attractive or ‘beautiful’ as compared to others that don’t fall within this category. This is a well-known concept and it is widely used in plastic surgery.
