The Magical Golden Ratio

This is about the golden ratio. The golden ratio is a concept developed by scientists to explain a vast number of things, but in our case, we are looking at how it describes the mathematical relations of the features of the human face. The golden ratio is actually a number – 1,618. It is understood that should dividing the length of the face by its width produce a figure close to the golden ratio, the face in question would be more attractive or ‘beautiful’ as compared to others that don’t fall within this category. This sure does change the way we look at plastic surgery! We wonder if the surgeons are busy doing the math, too!
