Maybrit Illner and René Obermann – 10 years

Maybrit Illner seems to have found true love in her second marriage.
The head of the ZDF morning magazine and multiple co-host of the television debates for numerous federal elections married for the second time in 2010.
She left her first husband, the screenwriter Michael Illner, for René after 19 years of marriage. René Obermann also separated from his former partner so that he could be with the talk show host.
Maybrit’s husband is a businessman and chairman of Deutsche Telekom.
Their marriage has so far remained childless, but the two seem to be perfectly happy together.
