RENEE SIMONOT – 109 YEARS OLD
The doyenne of actresses, the one who shone in the world of the seventh art, the one who first performed a dubbing in French, is no more. Renée Simonot died in July 2021, aged 109. She is the mother of famous actresses Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac. She has lent her voice to Olivia de Havilland, Judy Garland, and many more. Renée Simonot lived well, even as she approached her final days. Her daughter, Catherine Deneuve, for example, told in 2012 that her mother was aging well, that she still had very good hearing, that she still played bridge, in short, that she was happy and fulfilled.
