Viewers still remember Miranda Richardson as Rose Arbuthnot in Enchanted April. The actress, hailing from Lancashire, won a Golden Globe Award for her breakthrough performance in the 1991 comedy-drama. Along with an impressive stage, film, and television resume, she is also working as an ambassador for the World Wildlife Fund.
Following her acting debut in 1980 with The First Day and Agony, she has gone on to star in more than a hundred feature films and several projects on the small screen. Fans of Richardson can hear their favorite actress as a voice actor in Wendy Rogers’ animated adventure, The Magician’s Elephant.
