Being an Inspiration

It’s not easy being out in the real world. Unlike what some people might think, being a discharged Marine has its pros and cons too. It has some perks to a certain degree, but like any other person, Shannon also had to work hard if she wanted to be successful in life. That meant doing her part to apply to any company and hope for the best.

To inspire other Marines, both young and old, to follow their hearts’ desires, Shannon would often speak to engagement groups and encourage them to push their limits and never back down from any problem. Her statements were always well-received by everyone!
