Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) – $982.1 million

Every child is familiar with the story of Snow White. First released on December 21, 1937 at the Carthay Circle Theatre in Los Angeles, the movie revolves around a young princess’s life. As time progressed and animated movies were born, in February 1938, the animated version of the story was released as a movie nationwide.
It had a huge investment of $1.49 million at that time, but it worked wonders and became the highest-grossing animated movie. It made a good $982.1 million at the box office. On December 25, 2020, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was streamed at Disney+ to remember the first full-length animated movie.
