Evan Davis – TV Presenter, £275K

Evan Davis didn’t always have a taste for the camera. But thanks to an interdisciplinary degree in Philosophy, Politics, & Economics, he kicked off his media career as BBC’s economics editor. He has carved out quite a niche for himself, and his many awards speak to his success.

But after appearing as a guest presenter on “Today,” he gave up editing to assume a more permanent role on the show. So it’s safe to say Davis has found his calling in presenting. After all, since 2005 to date, he’s presented BBC’s “Dragon’s Den” and Radio 4’s “PM” since 2018. David’s importance to the BBC can’t be overstated, and the 2021 revelation of his £275K salary drives the point home.
