Martha Kearney – Presenter, £250K

Martha Keaney is a British-Irish journalist with the BBC. Although the tour de force of her illustrious career remains her 11 year run as the presenter of “The World at One,” she handled more. After all, “Woman’s Hour,” “Newsnight,” and “Talking Books” are some shows she’s worked on.

If her £250K salary is an indication of anything, it’s that her finesse hasn’t gone unrecognized. Speaking of recognition, Kearney has a number of those. As far back as 1998, she bagged a BAFTA nomination. She’s also the recipient of a Sony bronze award for a program on child poverty.
