J.K. Rowling made a fortune ever since she created the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Today, her net worth is almost $1 billion. Rowling was able to buy a luxurious yacht called the Amphitrite which is said to have cost her around $28 million. The yacht actually used to belong to actor Johnny Depp. It has a very nice interior and it comes with equipment for kayaking, windsurfing, and snorkeling. Despite all that, she has put it up for sale. Back in 2018, Rowling released a new book titled Lethal White. She published it under her alias, Robert Galbraith.
