The Unconventional Dreamcatcher

Down south, amongst cornfields and Southern twang, hangs an image that sparks chuckles. An improvised dreamcatcher: a bear can and frayed underwear, bound together in a unique spectacle of Southern charm. Dreamcatchers, rooted in Native American Ojibwe traditions, were conceived as protectors in sleep. Their circular design mimics a spider’s web, believed to snare nightmares, allowing only good dreams to slip through.
