Boeing EA-18G Growler – Cost: $67 million

Made to replace the Navy’s EA-6B Prowler aircraft, the Boeing EA-18G Growler is an airborne electronic attack (AEA) plane. Its main function is to conduct electronic attacks and snuff out enemy air forces during the beginning stages of hostilities. It can carry out these missions either from land bases or from an aircraft carrier.
The EA-18G Growler takes inspiration from the F/A-18F Super Hornet and pairs its platform with a more sophisticated electronic suite. Boeing saw the delivery of the first Growler, which has a top speed of 1,217 miles per hour, in 2008.
