Oshkosh M-ATV – Cost: $470,000

The production of the Oshkosh M-ATVs notably moved along without a lot of hitches. After winning the contract to create the all-terrain MRAP in 2008, Oshkosh was manufacturing 1,000 M-ATVs a month by the end of 2009. Among its notable features is incorporating the TAK-4 independent suspension system, which gave the vehicle topnotch mobility.
Like other land vehicles, it serves multiple purposes for the military. It practically operates on all battlefield areas, from moving weapons to transporting injured troops as an ambulance. The Oshkosh’s is battle-proven, too, having survived missions in Afghanistan.
