Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider – Cost: $550 Million

When the Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider finishes production, it would be the first new bomber for the United States Air Force since the late ‘80s. The aircraft was designed to rival that of similar systems operated by the Russian and Chinese military units.
The B-21 Raider, which was named after the B-25s that bombed Tokyo in 1942, gets its distinct look from the design choice of blending its wing and fuselage. Paired with the absences of stabilizers in its rear, the aircraft’s resulting shape makes it more adept at avoiding enemy radars.
