Boeing T-7 Red Hawk – Cost: $262 Million

Unlike the other aircraft we’ve talked about, you probably will never see the Boeing T-7 Red Hawk in battle. That’s because it’s primarily used by the United States Air Force as a training jet for pilots. Equipped with virtual simulators, it gives instructors and students a chance to feel what it’s really like to fly a fighter jet.
The T-7 Red Hawk system is offered by Boeing in partnership with Saab, a Swedish aerospace company that once dabbled in car manufacturing. The latter provides the training jet’s aft fuselage. The Air Force signed a contract with Boeing for 351 trainer aircraft and 46 simulators in 2018.
