Going from the air down to the land, let’s talk about mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAPs). These land vehicles are pretty much self-explanatory just based on their name. It gives soldiers a safe, armored platform while going through extremely hostile environments.

MRAPs are designed to withstand a variety of attacks, from underbody mines to rocket-propelled grenades. The vehicle has been improved and redesigned over the years as warfare weapons evolved. Some MRAP iterations can even serve as an armored ambulance. MRAPs are operational within a range of up to 370 miles.
