Boeing AH-64 Apache – Cost: $13 Million

When Boeing manufactured the AH-64 Apache, it promised durability. And it looks like the company delivered, seeing as the helicopter has become the United States Army’s go-to all-weather chopper. It lives up to its job title as an attack helicopter, equipped with the Longbow fire-control radar system.
The system allows pilots to detect and classify enemy targets, both moving and stationary. The AH-65 Apache is also armed with a mixture of rocket pods and missiles. Since the first Apache model flew in the ‘70s, Boeing has made plenty of updates to the helicopter over the decades, including the addition of slots for new electronics.
