Some Hotels Believe in Superstition

Some Las Vegas hotels skip certain floors due to cultural superstitions about unlucky numbers. For instance, many hotels like the Wynn and Rio avoid the 13th floor because 13 is considered unlucky in Western cultures.
Similarly, the Cosmopolitan and Aria skip floors containing the number 4, which is seen as unlucky in many Asian cultures because it sounds like the word for “death” in Mandarin and Cantonese. These omissions are somewhat fun to know, as they add a layer of intrigue to your Vegas visit.
