Born in 1958 in Westminister, London, Anne Hegerty established herself as a television quiz personality as an adult. Although the beginnings of her career involved journalism and ghostwriting, it took a significant turn when she started hosting the quiz show, The Chase, in 2010.

As of today, Hegerty has ongoing work on The Chase shows in both Britain and Australia, while also presenting Britain’s Brightest Family. In her 61 years of life, Hegerty has never walked down the aisle.
