Have You Heard of Little Colonsay?

Curiosity’s rover picked up a weird, shining item called Little Colonsay that seemed out of place amid the surrounding red rocks. The rover discovered this rock formation in November 2018 because of its size and shape; it looks like a small nugget.
It’s gleaming bright in the rover’s earliest photographs of the rock, stimulating experts to think it may be a meteorite that plummeted to Mars’ surface. Despite the team’s instructions, the Curiosity rover couldn’t thoroughly investigate the rock when the update was released. This mission could activate again someday, but the team hasn’t said when, although they’re open to so many possibilities.
