Is There A Bright Future For Explorations On Mars?

Refined versions of its predecessor’s (the Curiosity rover) design are being used for Perseverance Rover, released in 2020. Ultraviolet lasers are used to analyze mineralogy and identify chemical molecules on a microscopic scale. Hot magma and plentiful water are once again being detected by the rover on the surface.

Ancient organic molecules, present in all living things, have also been discovered preserved inside rocks and dust. Findings like this one provide light on what life was like in this area a few billion years ago. After drilling over two inches into the Martian surface, the Perseverance Rover carefully sealed a rock core it had taken from the surface.
