Have You Ever Thought About Finding Waffles On Mars? Well, Here They Are!

Scientists have been pondering the origins of an intriguing photograph of a circular feature on Mars. Like a freshly baked waffle, this 1.2-mile-wide island appears like it just came out of the oven. As a result of intercrossing lava flows, the area is now known as a “crisscross” area.

Some of the most intriguing discoveries include a doughnut-shaped rock and an item that looks like a human femur bone. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter took a picture of an “enigmatic landform,” as NASA defined it.
