Meet The Curiosity Rover

In 2012, NASA’s Curiosity rover touched down on the surface of Mars. High-resolution cameras, lasers, and robotic arms are all crammed inside the rover, approximately the size of a vehicle. Until May 25, 2022, the rover has logged 3,484 sols (3,579 days) on Mars.
The 2012 Robert J. Goddard Space Flight Center Curiosity Project Team received the prize for creating this machine. Its scientific instruments discovered chemical and mineral traces of former inhabitable areas on Mars early in “Curiosity’s” mission. A rock record from a period when Mars could have been host to microbes is still being studied by this mission in 2022.
