Terry Kilburn – 94

Terence E. Kilburn, credited as Terry Kilburn until 1953, was only an innocent, doe-eyed 11-year-old when he became famous for giving life to Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol, the 1938 film version. The English-American actor was also on Goodbye, Mr. Chips, as four generations of the Colley family. Kilburn played leading roles in Lord Jeff and Swiss Family Robinson, two movies that starred Freddie Bartholomew. Then, he acted alongside Basil Rathbone in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Between 1970 and 1994, Kilburn worked at Oakland University’s Meadow Brook Theatre as its artistic director. He currently lives in Minneapolis.
