Elinor Donahue – 84

Anyone who grew up during the ’50s knows who Elinor Donahue is. She became famous back then for the sitcom Father Knows Best, where she played Betty Anderson, the eldest child of Jim and Margaret Anderson. Before she got cast, she actually changed her name from Elinor Glyn to Elinor Donahue. At 18 months old, her mother let her join a dance class, and she eventually started working on the radio in her hometown Tacoma at five years old. Donahue, who officially left the industry in 2011, is now in her 80s with four grown sons.
Marsha Hunt – 101
Marsha Hunt gained fame for her performances in films such as Pride and Prejudice and Raw Deal. The gorgeous actress was blacklisted for a while in the ’50s, but luckily this didn’t lead to her bankruptcy. She maintained a steady bank account and dedicated her time as a humanitarian to end world hunger. Hunt still lives in Sherman Oaks, a town of which she is the honorary mayor.
