She is as Italian as the spaghetti she says she eats every day, but it was Hollywood that made her a legend. Sophia Loren did something historical when she won an Academy Award in a foreign language movie in 1961. The movie was Italian and named Two Women. At 85, Loren is reportedly worth about $75 million and credits a healthy diet for her longevity. In ’99, she was ranked 21 out of 25 for the ‘top 25 female American screen legends’ by the American Film Institute. In 2018, she is the only one on the list still alive and well.
