Roberta Flack – 84

As fans of oldies music would know, jazz was one of the most popular sounds around back in the day. Few female artists dominated the jazz and R&B scene like Roberta Flack. To lend credence to her dominance, she became the first artist to win a Grammy for record of the year in two consecutive years.

Jazz may not be quite as popular as it was back then, and Flack’s popularity may have somewhat waned as a result. Yet, the musical legend is far from done. Her 2018 album, “Running,” didn’t only signify that she was still active; it also proved her undying talent!
