Many items may be banned from airports and planes, some of which you may not even know about, depending on the airline you’re flying with. However, a simple snow globe or a harmless tropical fruit are not things you expect to find on that list. These warning signs would result in many questions from unsuspecting passengers.

The Transportation Security Administration in the United States banned snow globes as the liquid inside may be switched for an explosive chemical. Similarly, Thai and Malaysian Airways in Bangkok banned Durians for their foul odor. Though the measures may sound a bit extreme, they aim to keep passengers safe and comfortable.
