Hilarious Moments at the Airport You Couldn’t Help But Notice

Heather Jackson Jul 19, 2023

A Dangerous Game Of Luggage Tetris

There are some things you’d rarely expect to see at an airport, such as this. It looks like a baggage handler decided to add some creativity and excitement to their mundane job. It doesn’t seem too creative once you think about what would happen if you walked near them and they fell on you. However, you need not worry!

In reality, these are art sculptures at a baggage claim area at Sacramento International Airport. Still, you can’t help but wonder who would have the idea to build such art. It was created by sculptor Brian Goggin in 1998 by compiling approximately 700 pieces of luggage. How impressive!

Guess, Who’s Coming To Visit?

It’s no secret that most grandmothers enjoy cooking and passing down tasty recipes to their families. The woman who brought this rolling pin on board a plane is no different. Perhaps she had discovered that she couldn’t get enough culinary resources to show her culinary skills where she was going, but that wasn’t going to stop her.

Luckily, she was among the lucky few to get away with packing unusual items for her flight. Most airlines discourage you from bringing items like rolling pins or other kitchen utensils that could cause harm. She must have been relieved her mission hadn’t suffered a setback.

These Penguins Are No Longer “Flightless”

Who said penguins couldn’t fly? These penguins, Peter and Penny, might have been the first to take flight, though with the help of an airplane. In this picture, the adorable pair were photographed, ready to board their flight at Norfolk International Airport in Virginia.

Perhaps the biggest surprise is that they were flying alone! They boarded a Southwest Airlines flight from SeaWorld San Antonio to the Virginia amusement park in time for the start of the holiday season in 2013. Of the 18 penguin species, Magellanic penguins are nearly endangered and considered one of the most intelligent. We’re glad Peter and Penny made it to their destination safely.
