Talk About An Air Traffic Jam!

One of the best things about air travel is that you don’t have to deal with traffic jams. However, this picture taken at Los Angeles International Airport may convince you otherwise. No worries, though, as it’s a compilation of a day’s worth of airplane takeoffs and several landings at the airport. 

Beauty is not usually associated with air travel, but photographer Mike Kelley set out to change that. He spent hours at airports worldwide, then photoshopped them together to create “Airportraits.” He named this 2014 piece “Wake Turbulence,” and it’s one of those that earned him unexpected fame with aviation enthusiasts.
