When You Run Out Of Jet Fuel

This photo is one of the most absurd you’ll see, especially without hearing the story behind it. Why are there small people pulling a plane? Even if it ran out of fuel, aren’t there special machines to do that? It had to have been planned, and it was!

The photo was a strange idea by the people behind the television program “Man Vs. Beast.” As weird as it may sound, these little people were pitched against an elephant to see who could pull a McDonnell Douglas DC-10 jet weighing 122 tonnes the farthest. The elephant eventually won, but you have to ask, why would they even organize this in the first place?
