This Could Get Dangerous

The thing about lifting weights is that eventually within a workout the weight you’re lifting becomes too much, and you can’t lift it anymore. This is called lifting to failure and is a strategy for building strength and muscle. But it’s important to know which routines to do when lifting with this strategy.

Exercises like this overhead press are a big no. This picture is a perfect example of why this is since clearly, this guy cannot lift that weight anymore. But now, he runs the risk of dropping that weight on his head because he can’t hold onto it any longer.
