Jane Hill and Sara Shepherd – 10 Years

If you live in Britain, you probably get to see Jane Hill quite often. She works as a newsreader for various BBC programs, including BBC News at One and BBC News at Five. The 51-year-old has been a TV mainstay for many years now, and it doesn’t seem like her popularity will decline any time soon.

In 2009, Hill came out as a lesbian, and she has been feeling much happier and much more free since then. In 2011, she entered a civil partnership with her longtime partner Sara Shepherd.
