Diamond Ranch High School is a relatively new school that opened in 2001 with a groundbreaking style, unlike most others. This school is the brainchild of architect Thom Mayne with its post-modern expressionist design and very high walls that makes one feel small.

So, it is no surprise that several movies have been shot here from ‘Orange County’ to ‘The Cell’ that starred Jennifer Lopez. Also, this California place of learning was built on land on a hill that people thought was unusable but still stands tall today. Diamond Ranch High School is not just an architectural masterpiece but also a serious academic breeding ground that has produced several notable scholars.
