President William McKinley High School

Not many high schools have a Spanish revival style architecture like President William McKinley High School, founded in 1865 and located in Hawaii. This design that makes the school feel like home to anyone who walks into it is very typical of most schools around the West Coast, with Mission High School in San Francisco as a notable mention.
President William McKinley High School has had a lot of name changes from Fort Street English Day School to Honolulu High School. Still, despite its several names changes, its near unmatched academic standards have remained unchanged. It is the alma mater of former U.S Senator and decorated veteran Daniel Inouye.
