Carlos Santana – $50 Million

Carlos Santana gave guitar fans something they’d never experienced before. A unique fusion of traditional Latin jazz and rock n’ roll. He quickly gained recognition for his pioneering ideas with the guitar, eventually ending up with a massive $50 million fortune.

Santana was mostly popular back in the ’60s and ’70s, while younger generations might recognize him from the song Smooth, where Rob Thomas sang. He’s released seven studio albums, with the last one dating back in 1994. However, in 2014, we got to read his own, personal memoir titled The Universal Tone: Bringing My Story to Light.
