Duane Allman – $18 Million

Another legendary guitarist watching from the heavens was Duane Allman. Duane and his brother Gregg former the iconic blues-rock band The Allman Brothers. Together, they released four studio albums, which became instant hits. Allman’s skills in slide guitar and improvisation were unique.
Allman worked as a session musician as well. His earnings were around $18 million, and that’s what you get for playing with legends like Aretha Franklin and Boz Scaggs. Tragically, on November 20, 1946, Allman rode his Harley Davidson bike, when he collided with a truck. He eventually passed away some hours later from severe internal injuries. He was just 24.
