Freddie King – Estimated $19 Million

Freddie King’s influence on the blues genre was huge. Known for his characteristic and powerful voice, King released numerous hit tunes like Have You Ever Loved A Woman and You’ve Got To Love Her With A Feeling. Major guitarists like Eric Clapton credit him for his musical talent.

King’s most releases were funded by Federal Records. His salary back in the ’60s was pretty high, with sources claiming that he earned $19 million from his career. However, this hasn’t been confirmed by official papers. Constant touring and unhealthy eating habits ultimately took a toll on King, who passed away in 1976, aged just 42.
