Dick Dale – Estimated $200K

Dick Dale probably never received the recognition he should have. He was a true pioneer of his time, with people now regarding him to be the father of surf rock. Dale was characterized by Middle-Eastern scales in his songs, his Fender guitars and his way of playing, as he always put his guitar strings upside-down.
Dale is also famous for his collaboration with Fender when it came to amplifiers. He wanted more tone and more gain without that messing up the sound’s quality, and he eventually got it, after research with the said company and the first-ever 100-watt amp. He died in March 2019 from heart failure, aged 81.
