Buddy Guy – $2 Million

It’s funny to think that Buddy Guy’s music was once characterized as “noise”. Probably the biggest representative of the Chicago Blues scene, Guy left his mark on the blues genre once and for all. Many guitarists consider him to be their greatest source of inspiration, including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and John Mayer.

Guy has released 18 studio albums, having earned about $2 million thanks to his releases. Despite being 83 years old, he still performs regularly, while his latest album The Blues Is Alive And Well was released in 2018. He owns a bar in Chicago, Buddy Guy’s Legends, where he plays at least a hundred and thirty shows annually.
