Tom Morello – $30 Million

Rage Against The Machine wouldn’t be so famous had it not been for Tom Morello’s unique guitar skills. He graduated from Harvard, yet, his passion for music led him to found the said band, along with the band’s singer Zach De La Rocha. Famous for his leftist and revolutionary views and lyrics, Morello has earned $30 million from music.

Morello is known for his extensive use of effects pedals, weird picking techniques and string-scratching, which makes his guitar sound more like a turntable. Thus, Rage Against The Machine managed to mix hard rock with hip hop. The band reunited in 2019 after many years of being on a hiatus.
