A wedding wouldn’t be complete without the newlyweds cutting a slice out of an elaborate and intricately designed cake, right? Unfortunately for this couple, luck wasn’t on their side as one of the guys managed to ruin the dessert. We’re not sure if this was done on purpose for the photoshoot or not, but we can’t help but feel sorry for the baker.

After all, a cake, although not required, is usually seen during this type of ceremony. According to a survey conducted by The Knot, an average cake for this occasion costs around $500, as per the 76 percent of 27,000 couples surveyed.
