There has been a “feud” between Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel for a very long time. Starting as an impromptu one-liner in 2003, the bit has since expanded into a series of intricate pieces, becoming one of the most successful late-night gags in history.

It all started in season three of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” when the host made an off-the-cuff apology to Damon at the end of the show for not accommodating him.
