Bill Murray’s Iconic Entrance

For the 20th anniversary of his late-night talk show, David Letterman invited Bill Murray, the show’s very first guest, to return. In keeping with his reputation for showmanship and extravagance, Murray was no stranger to the dramatic entrance.
He appeared out of a cake, dressed like he was in the 17th century, and, to acknowledge the New York Giants victory, disguised as a football player. For this performance, Murray dressed like Liberace and made one of the greatest theatrical entrances ever. The actor arrived in style, driving a white Rolls-Royce while dressed in furs and a cape and carrying a small dog.
