Craig Ferguson Becomes A Proud American

Though Craig Ferguson was born in Glasgow, Scotland, he is now a naturalized American citizen. That’s because, in 2008, he passed the United States citizenship exam, a journey he chronicled on his CBS show “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” proving once and for all that he is a true blue American.

Astoundingly, he answered all of the questions correctly and passed the test. As it turns out, he is more knowledgeable about the United States than many of the native-born viewers at home. In retrospect, that episode may have been the most intriguing of his entire television career.
