1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa

Pioneering the Coke Bottle design, the 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa was a revolutionary vehicle in the 1950s. The first of its kind, the 1957 model was designed in response to regulation changes in the Le Mans 24-Hour race, where they had to have a 3-liter displacement engine.
The result was a formula one style vehicle that made up for the power regulation change with the aerodynamic shape of the automobile. While the car topped out at 167mph, but it was quick for its time, making the jump from 0 to 60mph in just shy of four seconds. This offered an impressive at the time horsepower of 295.
