1964 Shelby AC Cobra

Let us just say this out loud now to let it be known; the 1964 Shelby AC Cobra is one of the most beautiful cars in the history of motor vehicles. Designed by the legendary Carroll Shelby, the automobile uses the Ford V8 engine, famously also used in the Ford Mustang GT with Shelby’s name on it.

This year’s model is the first in the Cobra range and, through that V8 engine, produced some decent performance statistics. This includes going from 0 to 60mph in 5.8 seconds and can complete a quarter-mile in 13.8. It’s also just great for Sunday drives and showing off at automobile shows.
