Lounging in a chair, looking rather pleased, this pup’s misadventure is laid bare by the note in front of it. It seems a UPS truck became the stage for a canine escapade involving packages and an unexpected spritz. While this dog’s choice of a marking spot is certainly hilarious, it’s not entirely random.

Dogs use their urine to mark territory and communicate with other dogs. The scents left behind tell a complex tale of social status and personal identity. This time, though, the story is one of cheeky rebellion and a delivery route that will never quite smell the same again.
